SCORPIO & PSYCHE

When outer planets change zodiacal sign, personal and collective psyches transform forever. Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune’s journey through 20th Century Scorpio changed our views of Sex, Secrets, Violence, Money, and Death. Pluto takes twenty years to change sign. Pluto was home in Scorpio from 1984 to 1995. It doubled its speed and potency in quest of full power.

Astrology’s eighth house rules secrets, sexuality, death, and other money. Sex scandals ousted Senator Gary Hart, while greed and hubris infected televangelist Jim Bakker, dismissed as minister of the Assemblies of God denomination. Tried, in 1989, he was convicted in federal court on 24 counts of fraud and conspiracy. Bakker diverted millions of dollars to pay for his and Tammy’s grandiose lifestyle. Bakker was convicted of fraud for duping his followers out of 158 million dollars.

He’s back, preaching end times!

Homosexuals exited their closets in masses in the late 70’s ~ early 80’s to be everyday conversation. HIV prevention and condoms were promoted on national TV to stop the spread of AIDS.

Scorpio can be healthy and evolved like a Phoenix who rises from the ashes. Scorpio can also be perverted by secret sexual control fantasies. As Pluto passed through Scorpio, untimely demises flourished and blossomed. Too many had too many horrible hypocritical secrets. Souls sold to the Devil while pleasuring themselves by corrupting innocence. A seduction turns Scorpio on, but the betrayal is what gets him off! By making an unholy alliance with the Devil, he catalyzes predatory preachers who rape the innocent souls they were entrusted to protect ~ a crime punishable in HELL.

When Jupiter entered Scorpio on October 10, 2017, greedy misogynists grabbed many pussies, repressed many women from exercising their reproductive rights, and prevented many have nots from voting, while condoned lying and rewarding the worst of sexual and business behaviors. A human race became a race against bad shit happening.

Faith healing was no help for AIDS. Fundamentalist religious fanatics, poisonous partisan politicians, and insane ideologues had plenty to hate and preach about. Imagine the hubris of ‘CHRISTIAN’ leaders who believe they can steer hurricanes to punish non-believers. Who call non-Christians ‘Termites’? Who deride immigrants, Islams, Muslims, or coloreds… clueless idiots who promise nonsense!

1980 put the first professional actor in the White House after the lowest voter turnout ever. ‘Reaganomics’ didn’t ‘Trickle Down’. Reagan years were ’20 Mule Team Borax’ and ‘Death Valley Days’ years. When Oliver North exposed the Iran Contra scandal, he and Reagan played their roles well, managing to walk quietly away and return unscathed by political scandal.

Other significant violence was manifesting. Police bombed the headquarters of the black radical group called MOVE. Terrorists from Palestine Liberation Front seized the Italian cruise ship Achille Laura. Terrorists bombed Pan Am flight 103, killing 259 passengers and 11 villagers in Scotland.

Neptune regenerates or degenerates. Neptune (Pisces) transited Scorpio from 1957 to 1970, generating sit-ins and peaceful demonstrations and degenerating to race riots, terrorist bombings, and hijackings. New opportunities for spiritual transformation and growth benefited few. Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated by `two of her own bodyguards’. Racial tensions rose as Bernard Goetz, the subway vigilante, became a folk hero after he shot four young black men in NYC. He claimed they were robbing him. They claimed they didn’t provoke him. White justice favored Goetz.

Neptune rules dreams, illusion, and delusion. In an era of escapism, political unrest catalyzed the assassinations of John Kennedy, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King Jr. Tens of thousands went into exile rather than serve in the Vietnam War. Privileged few had ‘bone despurment’. Confused and fearful people consume illicit drugs while others devour pornography and violence. Oral sex and contraceptives were popular. Indiscriminate sex was normal.

Uranus (Aquarius) transited Scorpio from 1975 to 1982. The end of the Vietnam War for America was the beginning of terror for Cambodia. A senate committee admitted ‘ASSASSINATION’ was modus operandi in U.S. foreign policy.

WHERE’S GRETA?

Irreverent political humor nourished hungry audiences. Saturday Night Live flourished and blossomed as poisonous partisan politics sparked a revival of satire and parody. Uranus transits Taurus (values) as it opposes (death and transformation) Scorpio and catalyzes irreversible changes in our personal and collective psyches, philosophies, and purpose. We’ll never ever take what we value or have failed to value for granted again!

HAVES need to learn they can no longer afford not to give back to ‘have-nots’ in some significant way rather than take them for granted. Have-nots need to be appreciated for any and all good things. Our Founding Fathers saw us as children, truly wanting what’s best for all (despite personal prejudices and programming). Thanks to them, we say what’s on our minds and share what’s in our hearts via first amendment rights!

Scorpio symbolizes power, women, sex, and death. Persephone and Helen of Troy are two. Episcopal Church ordained its first woman in 1974. Barbara Walters was First Lady News anchor on ABC TV in 1976. Scorpio rules reproductive functions. MIT scientists created the first synthetic gene in 1976. The first test tube baby was conceived outside of the womb in 1978. The first Death sentence in ten years was carried out when convicted murderer Gary Gilmore went before a firing squad in 1977.

Scorpio rules garbage. No one wanted our notorious Garbage Barge that ferried 3,100 tons of toxic waste 6,000 miles before returning to NIMBY, to be incinerated for all to breathe. Speaking of refuse, Fidel Castro’s “Freedom Flotilla” highly embarrassed US officials when we realized that Castro had unloaded his underworld criminals, mentally ill, and other misfits on us. Over 1,000 “No Nukes” protesters were arrested on Wall Street on the 50th anniversary of the 1929 stock market crash. Who will be protesting on its 100th anniversary?

In 1975, the ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ became an instant cult classic. Its message was ‘anything goes’ (as long as you’re not hurting anyone). Punk Rock was rebellious, unconventional, and nihilistic. Uranus in Scorpio brought us Ultrasound, which became an alternative to x-ray radiation. Palimony suits became popular. IBM introduced personal PCs and transformed communications. Performance art became popular and an exciting venue for all creative artists. Personal gender identity needed to be accepted or face the dire consequence of fear and hatred.

Only guarantees in life are Death, Taxes, and Insurance. Insurance is 8th house. It implies we have something of value (2nd house) to protect. We pay to play. You can purchase Insurance, a contract that guarantees one party pays another party against a specified loss. When premiums are paid, we worry less about costs and consequences of bad shit happening to family, health, home, car, property, or whatever we value that’s insurable.

Insurance is premeditated gambling. The insured shoots craps and always loses, even when they win. Your insurance agent is your bookie. Your insurer is the casino. The house is always favored financially due to statistics, permutations, combinations, and probabilities. High risks are wedded to high stakes. You can generalize your prospects by examining actuarial tables and know your odds by observing your premiums.

Insuring is often confused with ensuring or assuring. Life is not ensured or assured. Spraying crops with pesticides ensures fewer bugs, weeds, and funguses. It assures we eat, drink, breathe, and apply some degree of toxic chemicals to our lungs, guts, hair, skin, mouths, nails, toes, genitals, or whatever. Investing Social Security in the Stock Market doesn’t insure, ensure, or assure the market won’t collapse. Employees of Enron believed pensions ensured and assured a secure retirement. They didn’t. Conserving energy ensures we will have more energy and waste fewer natural resources. Drilling for oil in wilderness does not insure we will have enough oil. It does ensure and assure we will have environmental, social, political, and planetary health problems. Offering vengeance as a solution to violence assures more violence.

Everyone dies. Life insurance protects the living. What’s the premium for a graceful and painless final exit? How much $$$ are the last years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, and seconds of your life worth? Learn more about Dying with Dignity by reading Final Exit by Derek Humphrey. When your time comes, having a logical, practical, painless, and peaceful alternative to facing a future of dependency, lack of awareness of love, pain, or poverty in old age is a good idea. Or not…

“Dr. Death” (Jack Kevorkian) inspired me to create a ‘Dr. Death Do It Yourself Kit’. When I decide to end the insanity of trying to be a sane person in an insane world and can no longer maintain my good health, I plan to leave this planet as peacefully and painlessly as possible and leave others with as small a mess as possible to clean up. An oxygen mask and a tank of helium will expedite an independent, painless, peaceful, and non-messy final exit.

Mixing politics, religion, and profit with our 2nd amendment rights will surely backfire on the NRA. Laws enable us to own and use weapons. Laws become regretfully inadequate when desperate angry have-nots with guns become fearful and hysterical enough to use them. Boundaries between sanity and insanity blur. Haves will have to protect their royalty, families, and possessions from the ravenous masses of gun owners scraping for pennies at the bottom of the barrel.

Our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual futures and the future of our planet and world are threatened with chaos and destruction. Our Constitution armed whoever is ready, willing, and able to protect our families, ideologies, and beliefs and has permitted us to exercise our rights to declare open season on tyranny, greed, and the extinction of Tyrantosaurus Hex and his merry band of Repuglicans.

LIBRA & PSYCHE

2019 ~ Fall Equinox ~ massive paradigm shifts are causing huge transformations in personal and collective psyches. Outer planets, symbolizing our inner and outer worlds are transmuting us through cardinal, fixed, and mutable modalities. As Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto transited through 20th Century Libra, forces of good and evil clashed. Unable to balance optimism with pessimism, tolerance with intolerance, justice with injustice, and progress with regress we had little social and political stability.

Uranus transited Aries (opposing Libra), to Taurus in 2018 and enters Gemini in 2026. Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn point toward poisonous partisan politics and calculating politicians who deceive voters with empty promises, fueled by hubris, hatred, greed, gluttony, and a morally and spiritually bankrupt leader.

While Neptune (Pisces) transited Libra from 1942 to 1957, nuclear weapons boomed. The Atomic Bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. President Truman ordered The Atomic Energy Commission to produce an even bigger `Hydrogen Bomb’. Neptune in Pisces has given us a deluded Emperor with his finger on the button. Why can’t we see we’re in this together? Our obligation is to all of humanity. We must nourish future generations and cultivate healthy behaviors, values, ethics, thinking, feelings, will power, physical habits, relationships, creativity, philosophies, purpose, dreams, and spirituality.

Where does fear stop and accountability begin? When do we take charge of our own destiny? Can humanity prevent ‘bad shit from happening’ instead of always racing towards it?

The United Nations was born on October 24 1945. Their Charter was ratified by China, France, Soviet Union, United Kingdom, and the United States. International cartels firmly established themselves. The European Common Market was recognized. Civil Rights Movements flourished. Group Psychology became popular.  World Council of Churches was established. Mother Francis Xavier Cabrini, founder of Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, became the first American Citizen to be canonized by the Roman Catholic Church.

The Devil is hard at work in our churches. An eternity in hell awaits confused and corrupt priests, who are tempted with erotic desires that encourage them to misuse their power and spiritually abuse the sacred souls they were entrusted to protect. No matter what your religion, humanity is one huge dysfunctional family.

‘As Above, So Below’

When Neptune exited Libra in 1957, bestselling novel, Peyton Place, focused on sexual intrigue in a small town. Allen Ginsberg, a popular poet wrote, “I have seen the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness”. People born 1942 ~ 1957 tend to over idealize relationships, seeing them as they want them to be instead of how they really are. A majority of our political leaders fall within these birthdates and are utterly blind.

Uranus (Aquarius) transited Libra from 1968 to 1975. The spirit of nationalism shifted from optimism to pessimism. Faith in progress turned into disillusionment in national institutions and world progress. The period was marked by useless popular inventions like a pet rock, giant platform shoes, and shag haircuts. Punk Rock, Primal Therapy, and Streaking became popular. The Supreme Court Legalized Abortions in the first trimester of pregnancy (Roe vs. Wade). Patriarchy certainly isn’t working for most of us. Isn’t it time for Matriarchy?

Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn have gathered ultra-conservative forces to bias a Supreme Court that curtails Women’s Rights. Bumbling bureaucrats choose money over values, promote religion over spirituality, embrace greed over good health, and offer us a heaping helping of fear, hate, confusion, and delusion. Where has our honesty, integrity, dignity, courage, strength, grace, virtue, and wisdom gone. Our personal and planetary health is controlled by too many pussy grabbers, fearful haters, and gluttonous shitholes. We must take responsibility for our own well-being and happiness.

In 1968, Governor George Wallace, a racial bigot from Alabama, announced he’d be running for President on a newly formed American Independent Party ticket. He threatened to repeal the “so called civil rights laws”. In 1971, an assassination attempt left candidate Wallace paralyzed from the waist down. Will history repeat itself? Diplomat Henry Kissinger approved the financing of clandestine CIA activities in Chile aimed at preventing the election and inauguration of Salvador Allende as Marxist President.

Patty Hearst popularized ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ after she was kidnapped and brain-washed by the Symbionese Liberation Army. A military junta deposed Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie. The most popular show on TV was a comic satire about a racist named Archie Bunker. Racism is a topic of pundits these days, but much less funny.

In Taurus, Uranus has brought us a naked Emperor who has chosen to build walls between us and our closest neighbors as he builds ideological, philosophical, and spiritual walls between us and the rest of civilization. While preaching Christian Values, he practices the seven deadly sins: lust, greed, envy, wrath, pride, gluttony, and sloth.

Pluto (Scorpio) transited Libra from 1971 to 1983. That period marked the launch of the environmental movement   RRR ~ Reuse, Recycle, and Recreate. Growers and pickers reached a settlement that ended nearly ten years of grape boycotts (led by Cesar Chavez). Farm workers finally had bargaining power. They strived together to accept, compromise, and sacrifice to achieve their goals.

In 1954, Neptune was in Libra and Pluto was in Leo. In the case of Brown v. Board of Education, the Supreme Court ruled racial segregation of schools was unconstitutional. On April 20, 1971, United States Supreme Court upheld the use of busing to achieve racial desegregation in schools. Unfortunately, making something law, doesn’t erase hatred. ‘Haves’ must learn to understand what ‘Have Nots’ have not.

An arm of the Palestine Liberation Organization terrorized the 1972 summer Olympics in Munich. Prime Minister Idi Amin slaughtered over 300,000 Ugandans and alienated his country from the rest of the world. Violence in Ireland forced Britain to seize control of Northern Ireland and suspend the Protestant controlled parliament. In 1975 South Vietnam crumbled, bringing an end to the Vietnam War. Because of the Karen Ann Quinlan case, `right to die’ rulings were enacted all across the USA. The serial killer “Son of Sam” was put away after terrorizing both males and females in NYC. Religious extremist Jim Jones’s followers drank the cool aid and died.

“The Lips of Wisdom are closed, except to the Ears of Understanding” ~ Hermes

John Lennon was murdered.

“Imagine there’s no country,

It isn’t hard to do.

Nothing to kill or die for,

And no religion, too.

Imagine all the people.

Living life in peace”

VIRGO & PSYCHE

Outer planetary transits influence our personal psyche and symbolize transformations in our collective psyche as they change sign. While Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto transited Virgo in the 20th Century, preconceived paradigms were revolutionized, dissolved, and transformed. It’s no surprise we’re reaping the consequences of ignoring history as our physical and psychological climate decline. Virgo is transforming us again through its current opposition from Neptune in Pisces, along with transits of Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto in earth signs. People born 1962 – 1968 with Uranus and Pluto in Virgo, analyze, compartmentalize, organize, and rationalize their lives. Their greatest challenge is to balance practicality with spirituality.

When Neptune entered Virgo in 1929, her dark and nebulous side manifested as Wall Street crashed and catalyzed the great depression. When Neptune left Virgo in 1943, we were submerged in confusion over the Second World War. Mass propaganda and deception had poisoned the rationality of Germany as it poisons us now. Millions of innocent people were exterminated in the name of racial purity. Humanitarians and labor unions were born during this period. Both are dying these days. New concepts in medicine such as psychosomatic illness were presented. Neurotics who were terrified of reality ran from responsibility. “We Want Beer” marches were held in cities across the country to protest prohibition, which was soon to be successfully repealed.

Modern Times, Charlie Chaplin’s motion picture, was released. The top money making movie of 1938 was Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, complete with wicked stepmother; handsome prince; woodland setting; huntsman, seven doting dwarves; and a happy ending. The best-selling book of 1936 was Margaret Mitchell’s Gone with the Wind. Silk stockings transformed into nylon stockings. DuPont was unable to satisfy the demand. Gasoline rationing was put into effect in 1942. A new mold discovered on cantaloupe yielded ten times the penicillin as previous sources to reduce shortages. Neptune in Virgo people born 1929 ~ 1943 were destined to “serve or suffer”.

When transformational Pluto entered the sign of Virgo in 1957, we realized how easily we’d become slaves to scientific and technological trends. Awareness of the dangers of chemical pollutants affecting our environment entered our mass consciousness. Environmental special interest groups were formed. Geneva nuclear test ban talks reconvened. Official school prayers became unconstitutional. People born from 1957 to 1971 were avid consumers of bottled water and health foods which have become huge businesses, consumers of fossil fuels, and planetary polluters.

When Pluto left Virgo in 1971, Daniel Ellsberg, former Deputy Secretary of Defense, leaked the Pentagon Papers to the New York Times. The Times also published government documents about the history of the Vietnam War that revealed that the American public had been consistently lied to. Anti-war demonstrators protested in Washington where two thousand Vietnam veterans rallied. Many threw their combat medals on the steps of the capitol. Daniel Ellsberg was indicted for espionage and conspiracy. The 26th amendment giving eighteen year olds the right to vote became law.

Uranus transited the sign of Virgo from 1962 to 1968. A `good health’ revolution in consciousness began with natural and organic foods. Rachel Carson’s bestselling book Silent Spring highlighted ecology and stimulated concern for widespread damage caused by pesticides and technological progress. Holistic healers appeared. Cigarette companies were forced to print health warnings on packaging and advertising.

Health is a mundane correspondence for Virgo. Good health is a birthright that we all deserve. Everyone has physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges. Corrupt politicians, partisan government, acquisitive pharmaceutical companies, and greedy brokers of healthcare insurance have negatively transformed our healthcare system by extorting people who can’t afford health insurance and refusing to help those unable to help themselves. Avaricious drug companies care more for profit than people. Megalomaniacal managed care providers bribe prejudiced partisan politicians to enforce their rules. Materialistic money managers along with egotistical plutocrats prosper while dedicated doctors are forced to ignore root causes and treat symptoms with overpriced medications. Saturn transited Virgo from 9/2007 – 10/2009. Seeds for structural change were sown and the Affordable Care Act was born.

Civil rights became turbulent. Voter registration drives and segregation protests increased. Several thousand black and white supporters were arrested. A black church in Birmingham Alabama was bombed killing four girls. Two more blacks died in riots following that bombing. President Johnson signed the most important civil rights act in US history on July 2 1964, integrating all public accommodations and prohibiting job discrimination. Sadly, legislating equality doesn’t eliminate prejudice. Malcolm X was assassinated while speaking in NYC in 1965. Thurgood Marshall was sworn in as the first black Supreme Court justice in 1967. Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated in Memphis while supporting a sanitation worker’s strike in 1968. Riots in 125 cities after his death resulted in 46 more deaths.

Senator Robert Kennedy was assassinated in Los Angeles shortly after becoming the Democratic front-runner for the presidential nomination. Anti-Vietnam war rallies were being held in major cities and universities across the country.

The worst earthquake in modern history leveled Anchorage Alaska. Jonas Salk discovered the polio vaccine and inoculated the masses. The first transatlantic TV broadcast was made via AT&T’s privately owned satellite Telstar. The first televised presidential debates were broadcast. Russians crash landed the first spacecraft on the moon. Pop Art had its first exhibition. Rock & Roll became popular. The Beatles skyrocketed to musical fame and fortune. Bob Dylan became a superstar while singing about the hypocrisy of American values and culture.

The handwriting is on the wall. When will we honestly examine our past and make healthier choices for a healthier future? Must history repeat no sense and nonsense? Gluttonous liars govern western culture without reason, evidence, science, statistics, or heart. Our soulless, heartless, and clueless Emperor has no clothes. Any sane person can see him themselves. Hate and fear must be changed into love and courage!

CANCER & PSYCHE

Cancer is a cardinal water sign, ruled by our moon. Our moon influences our oceans and tides. Cancer is the beginning of summer and the symbolic mother of the USA. Let’s examine the transits of Pluto and Uranus through Cancer in the 20th Century and their influence on personal and collective psyche. I’m publishing this post as our Sun is entering the sign of Cancer.

Pluto (planet of sex, death, transformation, and other people’s resources), transited Cancer from 1913 to 1938. Partisan politics, nationalism, and isolationism transformed world ideologies. World War I became World War II. In 1913, President Wilson pressed a button in the White House that blew up the Gamboa Dike at the Isthmus of Panama, creating a canal between oceans, and transforming intercontinental travel by sea. Wilson legislated the Carter-Owen Bill that established a Federal Reserve System to transform the strangle hold on the nation’s currency and credit system by banks. Now Plutocratic corporations are strangling us.

Daylight Saving Time transformed our nation’s clocks and schedules. Transcontinental telephone service transformed international communications. World infrastructures and atomic energy transformed planetary energy sources and usages. NBC was the first Nationwide Broadcasting Company. Wall Street prospered from war while soldiers earning $16 per month died in the trenches. President Wilson established a lottery style draft promoting patriotism. Congress passed the Espionage Act fining draft dodgers $10,000 and imposing a twenty-year jail sentence. No child was left behind.

“Do your bit” encouraged citizens to buy Liberty Bonds. Wheatless-meatless days were promoted. The end of 1919 marked the end of the Influenza pandemic that caused half a million deaths and a quarter of the nation’s population to be sick. Prohibition banned liquor for all citizens. Black markets and bootlegging industries flourished. Black leader Marcus Garvey organized ‘The Empire of Africa’ with 500,000 followers. He led the largest mass exodus of Blacks with the least sense of brotherhood in U.S. history.

In 1929, doubt, fear, and panic upset our stock market as we faced our darkest hour. Foundations and structures of home and family transformed. Pluto in Cancer birthed many people who spent their lives taking care of family. Overdeveloped senses of responsibility, guilt, and obligation motivated their children to become dropouts and runaways. That hasn’t worked either.

Uranus (planet of sudden unexpected change, rebellion, and revolution) transited the sign of Cancer from 1949 to 1955. Mothers stopped staying at home and went to work. Women began wearing the “bikini”, a fashionable French bathing suit. ‘I Love Lucy’, a comic show about a housewife and her Cuban bandleader husband became the most popular show on TV. Ranch houses and basement playrooms were popular. The subconscious mind was explored in psychology. If you were born between 1949 and 1955, your psyche is somewhere in time and space between rational and aware and oversensitive and fearful.

We may want to think twice before we elect (or appoint) another Cancer President. Four USA Presidents were born under the sign of Cancer. George W Bush (7/6/1946), with his intuitive hands, has an egocentric character to match his Leo rising. George Bush revealed the worst qualities of Cancer and Leo in his behavior, presidential intentions, and actions. Check out these similarities between the four Cancer Presidents.

Like George Bush and Al Gore, John Quincy Adams finished second in popular vote behind General Andrew Jackson. There was no majority. The choice was put before the House of Representatives. House Speaker, Henry Clay, swung the election to Adams. When Adams appointed Clay as Secretary of State, Jackson followers cried, “Corrupt bargain”. “Of all the men whom it was ever my lot to accost and to waste civilities upon, he was the most doggedly and systematically repulsive. With a vinegar aspect, cotton in his leathern ears, and hatred in his heart, he sat like a bulldog among spaniels.”   W.H. Littleton

President Calvin Coolidge shared a birthday with the Declaration of Independence. He was infamous for “holding his tongue”, earning him the title, “Silent Cal”. Two of his sayings were: “If you don’t say anything, you won’t be called on to repeat it.” and “The business of America is business.” “He was an economic fatalist with a God given inertia. He knew nothing and refused to learn”. William Allen White

The 38th President, Gerald Rudolph Ford Jr., didn’t know he was adopted until he was seventeen. Gerry didn’t lift a finger around the house. His wife, Betty performed all the domestic chores. As Speaker of the house, Ford passionately pleaded for escalation of the war in Vietnam. He urged “unleashing devastating air and sea power”. He failed to impeach liberal Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas as a favor to his buddy Richard Nixon. Ford granted Nixon a “full complete and absolute pardon” for all crimes relating to Watergate. Ford blamed democrats for a disastrous rate of inflation and warned that electing more would “jeopardize world peace”. He admitted to never reading books, but did find time to watch football on TV.

Congressman Robert Drinan said, “I cannot dislike him personally — he’s cordial and gracious, but he’s consistently wrong and consistency is a virtue of small minds. He’s never proposed a constructive solution to anything”. Lyndon Johnson quipped, Ford “had played too much football with his helmet off” ~ “Jerry’s the only man I ever knew who can’t walk and chew gum at the same time”. Reverend Duncan Littlefair declared, “Ford isn’t a bad man, but he’s dumb—dumb. He shouldn’t be dumb either. He went to school just like everybody else”.

“The important thing is that men should have a purpose in life…
it should be something useful, something good”

The Dalai Lama (Cancer) is “The Reborn Soul of Buddha”. Orpheus, singer, priest, healer, poet, and musician in Greek myth, he charmed and enchanted Death into letting him enter the matrix of collective unconscious to find his beloved Eurydice. After death warned Orpheus that he’d lose Eurydice if he looked back, a moment of weakness caused him to look back and lose her. The Dalai Lama fled Tibet in 1959 to live as a “simple monk” in a remote corner of Northern India. Unable to return, he chose to promote world peace and love. If hindsight is 20/20, then we must choose hindsight as we vote in 2020.

GEMINI & PSYCHE

Millions of Geminis are born each year from May 20 ~ June 21. Regardless of sun sign, three periods each century share Gemini psyche and psycho-social paradigms with corresponding karmic responsibilities, missions, and retributions.

Born 12/24/1945 to 8/11/1947 (age 70-72), 8/6/1964 to 2/21/1966 (50–52), and 3/15/1983 to 11/1/1984 (32–33), share a karmic debt and responsibility to join society, embrace humanity, and share  higher consciousness. It’s time to give ourselves a helping hand; our own. Pictured on the left are members of the post WWII generation. George W BushBill Clinton, Donald Trump, and I share the same Gemini lunar north node. Uranus was also in Gemini at the time. Bill Clinton and George Bush had opportunities to raise public consciousness, but blew it by thinking their job was about them and indulging in their weaknesses. Sadly, history is repeating itself. Donald Trump, a Gemini, one man obstacle course, human wrecking crew, lover of gilded towers, collector of polished brass cages, glitzy gambling casinos, golden pedestals, graven images, beauty queens, shark tanks, and celebrity idols is a magnet for greedy gluttons and feckless fools.

PROFIT

Donald (Leo rising) doesn’t care about us. His hubris is harming our world. Bill Clinton (Leo) and George Bush (Leo rising) cared, but made personal and political choices ending as lessons in hubris that radically altered their histories and destinies. Donald is raising public consciousness by teaching us what not to do, how not to be, and how not to lose what we have, to value what we had. Hindsight needs to vote and win in 20/20. Who we choose now will influence how Uranus will transit Gemini in 2025 and behave for the following seven years.

Our only outer planet to transit Gemini in the 20th Century was Uranus from 1942~1949. Social ideas and cultural paradigms shifted towards education. The U.S. Supreme Court abolished religion in public schools. The GI Bill enabled thousands of people to go to college. Radio and television dominated media all over the world. The first computer calculation, ENIAC (Electronic Numerical Integrator and Computer), was born at the University of Pennsylvania in 1946. Columbia Records introduced the 33 1/3 rpm “long playing record”. The United Nations held its first session in London. The Atomic Energy Commission was created. The United States joined NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). People born 1942 ~ 1949 with Uranus in Gemini are mentally restless, have nervous temperaments, and minds that grasp new ideas quickly. Unfortunately, common sense is no longer good sense. What happened to healthy and sane?

ENIAC has come a long way since 1946. Internet is a transmutation of Hermes principle of mentalism. Hermes knew how to connect with anyone at any place and time and transmit his ideas and images without external hardware and software. Hermes taught that our brain is our hardware and our mind is our software. Mind can be a powerful and effective communication tool that enables us to make good sense, connect with others , tune our links, and behave appropriately.

Wake up and whiff the weirdness!  The human race has become a race against bad shit happening. If we continue to substitute money for values, religion for spirituality, and bad ideas for good sense, we will seal our fate by not choosing ourselves, each other, our planet, and our destiny as equal and fair. Help Hermes ‘Law of Polarity’ transform ten negative character traits into ten positive character traits. You’re judge, jury, and executioner!

 ‘Imagine the Opposite’

Superficial ~ creating and implementing products without healthy vision, foresight, well thought out marketing plans, and/or adequate financial framework

Deceitful ~ selfish intent ~ perverted purpose ~ IPO as product

Dilettante ~ Technology for the sake of technology

Commercial ~ inability to integrate content and advertising

Detachment ~ Banner Syndrome creating consumer numbness to advertising

Cleverness ~ too many bright colorful sugar coated widgets

Sneakiness ~ invasion of privacy / Spam / Cookies / Viruses

Fickleness ~ user characterized as a statistic for future mailing lists

Babbling ~ too much hype, grease, bullshit, and too many alternate truths

Anything is better than nothing ~ boring graphics / poor bandwidth

E-business produces e-contamination and creates e-Pollution. We can close landfills, but what do we do with toxic cyber-fills and hazardous digital spills?  E-garbage is created and collected and not properly disposed of. How do we recycle, reuse, and recreate cyber-toxins and poisonous dot-coms? Psychic garbage is the birthplace of all physical garbage. Perhaps we should encourage psychic abortions for hypocrites.

ARIES & PSYCHE

Personal and collective psyche transform as our outer planets pass through our zodiac. Uranus was our only outer planet to transit Aries in the 20th Century (1927–1935). Uranus in Aries brought fierce individualism, pioneering spirit, abundant energy, and limitless financial resources to facilitate bringing concepts to fruition. Uranus invigorated our individual and collective psyche through revolutionary technological changes. Here are some images and events inspired and symbolized by Uranus’s path through Aries.

Physics and astronomy created the “Big Bang” theory of an ever-expanding universe

NEUTRON was discovered

King Kullen was the first Supermarket in Queens, NY

Uranus completed its eighty-four year cycle in the spring of 2011, turbulently returning to Aries to crumble regimes, topple demagogues, ignite cities, and fuel an Arab Spring that would spread across the Mid-East. Devastating earthquakes in Japan forever changed how governments look at nuclear power policies. We’re still dealing with the fallout and consequences. Protestors in Spain set the stage for Occupy Movements in New York and London. Osama Bin Laden was killed. His demise appeared on Twitter before it was officially announced by the Whitehouse. WikiLeaks raised our awareness of government secrets, conspiracies, and everything we should never take for granted!

Irrational interpretations of our second amendment have been adopted by extremist and fundamentalist ideologues. Armies of angry, confused, and frustrated folk with semi-automatic weapons of mass destruction are only a banana peel away from becoming nutcases with guns. The NRA, evangelicals, corrupt politicians, and partisan politics have laid the groundwork for another Civil War as Uranus leaves Aries. The Devil tempts and seduces his disciples to betray our minds, hearts, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and planet. Too many emperors, beasts, and frogs are clothed in lies and alternative facts and must be seen through a lens of good sense. Even a catastrophe may take many years and many hard lessons before real change is implemented.

“Hasta la vista baby”

Uranus’s unpredictability, along with blood, guts, and gore of war are a scary combo. Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn can be noble and highly spiritual or poisoned by passion, devoured by lust, and consumed by greed, hatred, fear, and terror. We must shift our broken philosophical and spiritual paradigms or be doomed to MPTSD (mass post-traumatic stress disorder). The “Big Bang” is a tale of neutrons, plastics recycling, supermarkets, laundromats, homogenized milk, Wonder Bread, Scotch Tape, and the Model T. Why has the human race become a race against bad shit happening?  Must we always lose what we have to value what we had?

PISCES & PSYCHE

Personal and Collective Psyche transform as outer planets change signs. The only outer planet to pass through Pisces in the 20th century was Uranus (1919–1928). Uranus, symbolic of sudden change, completed its eighty-four year cycle and passed through Pisces from 2003–2011. Pisces is ruled by Neptune, god of the seas, eternally linked to our personal and collective unconscious. Uranus moved to Aries in December 2011 and begins its final journey through Taurus in April of 2019. Stock markets and interest rates may fluctuate when smart investors and psychologists realize that fake news is real news when enough people believe it. I’ve illustrated historical similarities and differences between 1919 and 2003 with documented facts and parodied portraits of politicians, priests, and predators who continue to con us and get away with it.

1919 ~ worst baseball scandal (Black Sox) in history occurred when a grand jury brought indictments against eight players from the White Sox. Accused of throwing the 1919 World Series, they were eventually found not guilty.

2003 ~ complicit use of illicit steroids was the biggest scandal in modern baseball.

Bottle of bonded medicinal whiskey

“For Medical Purposes Only”

1919 ~ Eighteenth Amendment prohibited the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors, which encouraged distilling, brewing, and bootlegging.

2003 ~ George W. Bush prohibited Medicare from negotiating drug prices. Black markets for drugs from India and Canada thrived. Cannabis became medicinal.

1921 ~ formal investigations into the Teapot Dome oil scandals were initiated.

2003 ~ USA invaded Iraq under false pretenses to secure oil resources.

1924 ~ worst tornado in US history obliterated 35 towns in Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois.

2005 ~ Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.

1919 ~ World War I ended; consumerism, immigration, discrimination, fundamentalism, and extremism grew. Uranus in Pisces spawned Neptune rising as four million steel workers and miners walked off the job to protest ‘too many work hours’ and “inhumane pay”.

2003 ~ increased wage inequality between workers at the top, middle, and the rest of us, affected overall productivity, resulting in less wages and compensation for a typical worker. Real wages and compensation continue to stagnate.

Four horrible conservative Republican Presidents (Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, and George W Bush) held office while Uranus was in Pisces. The 30th President (born July 4), “Silent Cal” Coolidge said, “The business of America is business”. He also told us, “Biological laws tell us that certain divergent people will not mix or blend (Inferior Races of Asia).” Some things never change. Government and business enjoyed their time in bed together. Illicit affairs wielded temporarily absolute power over tightly woven webs of political, social, and cultural fabric. Plutocrats seduced and betrayed humanity for profit. Ironically, we call our dependence on corporations ‘Citizens United’. The warning label should read: ‘Unhealthy for 99%’.

Mission Accomplished?

Mission accomplished? In 2003, Uranus entered Pisces again. George W Bush began his ‘War on Terror’ carelessly wrecking Iraqi culture and disabling their energy infrastructure. Dick Cheney’s ex-employer, Halliburton, became a proud sponsor and benefactor of the war. Energy sources (wars) were rewarded to energy barons. Security for airports and seaports was carefully placed in the hands of chosen special interest contractors. Public Health Care was sacrificed on altars of pharmaceutical companies and health insurance czars. Social Security flirted with an untimely demise in the Stock Market.

In 1929, loss of faith in government and business infected humanity, and catalyzed the stock market crash! A lesson of GW Bush is a warning of what not to do: out-of-control federal domestic and military spending, government bailouts for financial and auto industries, and unfunded nebulous federal mandates like educational reform that transformed substantial surpluses into huge deficits. Democrats controlled both houses of Congress until the end of Bush in 2009.

Stable Genius

‘No Love’ is not ‘Tough Love’. One obligation and responsibility of wealth is truth and justice. Having great wealth is truly valuing family, friends, everyone, and everything else. The purpose of wealth is to be accountable, choosing a worthy cause and practically and effectively sharing whatever resources it takes to make a real difference.

Mentally, Emotionally, Morally, and Spiritually Bankrupt

Uranus in Pisces transformed traditional patterns of thrift and austerity into neo-consumerism and buying on credit. Two out of three Americans had electricity, refrigerators, and washing machines. Spending on recreation tripled. Henry Ford created new colors, green and maroon, as well as black. Mass tastes energized mass markets for Rice Krispies, Lender’s Bagels, Mounds Bars, Betty Crocker, and Peter Pan Peanut Butter, and many others.

“The real problem is liberal spending”

Credit and consumerism created the illusion of an easy convenient life. Uranus in Pisces inspired movie audiences to out attend church audiences. Movie houses, chain stores, and radio advertising proliferated. ‘Modern Romance’ magazine challenged moral codes. Critics believed consumerism was driving Americans into a soulless existence of materiality and conformity. Writer Sinclair Lewis highlighted humanity’s illusions and delusions, blaming mass production and consumption for “having created a bloodless, loveless, and standardized world”, a very scary reality.

Clueless Hypocrite

Which religions are practicing what they are preaching? Are emigrants and immigrants equal? Evidently, God commanded the KKK with over 40,000 hooded members to march on Washington DC in 1925. The resurgence targeted African Americans, blacks, immigrants, Catholics, and Jews. New immigration laws reduced a stream of immigrants to a trickle while congress decided to hinder the flow of immigrants based on quotas of 150,000 new immigrants yearly. Sound familiar?

Living Proof of Darwin’s Theory

Uranus in Pisces catalyzed a clash between science and religion. Intelligent Design and Creationism ignored modern science. Tennessee legislators voted it unlawful for any teacher in a state supported school, “to teach any theory that denies the story of man’s creation as taught in the bible”. Man descending from apes was unacceptable. John Scopes, high school biology teacher, taught ‘theory of evolution’. Scopes lost in the infamous “Scopes Monkey Trial”.

NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND

Religious culture manipulated school curriculum to cleanse obscenity, promote censorship, and discriminate against race and sexuality in literature and theater. No child was left behind. The German Bauhaus School of Architecture’s ‘less is more’ design philosophy influenced architecture and product design on a global scale. How many yachts do our savior oppressors need?

I was an industrial designer in 1969. At that time, ‘Intelligent Design’ was saving materials and money for manufacturers. Waste was not a problem, except for clean-up and disposal costs. Designers didn’t realize our planet was no bigger than our ability to infect her with a fatal dose of humanity’s own disease. Ignorantly and egoistically, I depleted, wasted, and polluted our natural resources. I rationalized my actions by creating fashion and justified my decisions by ignoring their consequences.

‘Intelligent design’ is not ‘smart design’. Smart designers create useful products and services using sustainable resources, efficient energy production, fewer pollutants, less waste, and finally reincarnating whatever waste remains into beneficial and constructive materials and products that add to humanity. The handwriting is on the wall. Humanity must shift a paradigm of living lies, to seeing, understanding, accepting, and embracing truth. Hate must be transformed by love and letting go of fear.

BELIEVE ME!

‘It’s not what you do, but what you can get away with that matters’. One clear lesson Donald Trump has taught us is common sense is not good sense. Losing our sanity doesn’t make any sense. We interpret fake news and decipher illegible and deceptive writing, while all news has become morally and spiritually bankrupted by leaders with perverse senses of truth. Emperors believe they know what’s best for us, weaving webs with warps of ‘no love’ and wefts of ‘tough love’. We joke of discrimination, greed, prejudice, hate, and hypocrisy of fools. It’s no joke. Being healthier, happier, more loving, and tolerant of ourselves, each other, and our planet is the only thing that makes good sense. We need leaders who can call on their courage, strength, wisdom, and grace to love us and do what’s best for all of us!

Much has happened since 1919. 164 years passed as Neptune transited Pisces from April 4, 2011 ~ April 1, 2025. It’s hard to foretell Neptune’s nebulosity because the lines between vision, illusion, and delusion blur. Pisces embodies endings of ages that begin new ages with spiritual enlightenment. The dusk of denial is the dawn of truth. Bad behavior is pandemic. Attitudes haven’t changed much. Must we die to be reborn? Why can’t we appreciate what we have when we lose what we value? History repeats its desperate and disparate need to teach and learn in the hardest ways possible. Has Neptune in Pisces catalyzed Spiritual Cancer?

Greed Incarnate

Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008. Uranus entered Aries in 2011. Pluto and Uranus combine to suddenly and unexpectedly transform character, energy, values, communications, business, transportation, health care, relationships, creativity, philosophy, politics, purpose, religion, spirituality, and our destiny. Greed is driven by Wealth, Power, and the Illusion of Self Importance. Huge footprints don’t mean huge hearts. The pathology of power fosters the denial of truth. Feeling futility catalyzes the delusion and disillusion of the will of 99%. Fear, hopelessness, and apathy are poisoning the Kool-Aid and too many of us are guzzling it.

DONALDEMORT and his DEMENTORS

Nonsense trumps good sense. Money trumps values. Religion trumps spirituality. Climate denial trumps science. Health insurance companies trump healthcare. Humanity is trumped by HMO’s, pharmaceuticals, and hospitals that prioritize profits over people. Prisons are privatized and trumped by profiteers, packed with prisoners (mostly black), proffered by plutocrats, and promoted by politicians who create laws that promote their own enforcement and profitability of prison populations. Prison hatcheries spawn fundamentalist and fanatical behaviors and frantic followers.

LOCK HIM UP Presidential Coin
Trust Me

Vampires don’t love us. They suck our blood. Wars are fought by have nots, who surrender their vital essences to Plutocrats, who squander them in luxury and leftovers. Why do we choose harmers over farmers? Do we really need fear, hate, and terror? Who are the real vermin and what should we do about them?

‘LOCK THEM UP’

Haves who are lucky enough to have earned what they have, and know how lucky they are, have great moral, ethical, and spiritual obligations and responsibilities to themselves and others. What are our ethical, moral and spiritual responsibilities and obligations?  As we help ourselves, we must help others. How can we protect our planet and still have what we need? How can we be more mentally and emotionally stable?  How can we renew our topsoil, clean our water and air, and employ renewable energy sources. We can send electric cars into space, but can we transform travel, bridges, tunnels, and not build more walls? Conceive the inconceivable. Healthy intent and free will makes a huge difference. Where is love?

AQUARIUS & PSYCHE

Look and See. Listen and Hear. Touch and feel. Think and know.

Personal and Collective Psyche shifts paradigms as Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto change sign. Uranus takes seven years to change sign and eighty-four years to orbit our sun through all twelve signs. Uranus returned to Aquarius twice in the 20th Century. 1912 to 1919 marked a time of sudden and unexpected political and social upheaval that challenged our spiritual ideologies, faith in humanity, and trust in ourselves. Uranus passed from Capricorn to Aquarius in 1996. Had humanity chosen love and brotherhood over selfishness, convenience, and fashion, we’d be building bridges instead of walls!

1912 ~ The “Unsinkable Titanic” sunk on its maiden voyage, a karmic lesson in hubris.

1913 ~ Tornadoes and floods devastated Middle America, killing 3,000 people and costing over $100,000,000… a very expensive lesson in preparedness.

1914 ~ World War I began. Fear, hatred, and terror levied a heavy toll on humanity.

1915 ~ A German submarine torpedoed the British ocean liner, Lusitania.

Alexander Graham Bell catalyzed mass communications when the first transcontinental phone call was made on Jan 25th, 1915. A powerful concept’s time had arrived.

Note: In Greek Mythology, the true father of the Cell Phone was Hermes, a real man and mystic teacher of Abraham. Hermes believed everything is made up of cells. Our brain is the hardware. Our job is to connect with other cells and fine tune our links.

1916 ~ would a wall have deterred Pancho Villa, Mexican revolutionary, from invading the USA? Woodrow Wilson retaliated by sending 6,000 troops into Mexico.

Official Gazette of London published the names of 80 United States firms suspected of trading with Germany. Prescott Bush was one banker who supported the Nazis.

1917 ~ USA declared war on Germany. Hitler’s enemies became our allies.

Bigotry was bountiful. The worst race riot in American history happened in Illinois.

Congress amended laws that prohibited beer, wine, and liquor from being profitable.

1918 ~ Daylight Savings Time began. Spanish Flu became the worst pandemic since the Bubonic Plague wiped out one quarter of Europe’s population in the 14th century.

1919 ~ Prohibition was ratified as the 18th amendment to our constitution.

Winners lose and losers win. Congress failed to ratify the Treaty of Versailles. President Wilson disagreed. He went on public tour to fight the decision and eventually died trying.

Male vanity and virility was popularized when Pfizer introduced Viagra. The stock market created a new form of temptation called “internet day trading”. DVDs became the fastest growing consumer electronics product in history. Bribes and drugs tarnished the Olympic Games. Our innocence and civil liberties were transformed by dissolving our ideas and delusions of private and social security and stability. What we think and how we feel about our past, present, and future is all that really matters.

Body piercing and tattoos became even more popular. President Clinton’s first political act of 1996 was to sign a welfare reform bill that made life harder for poor people. They became demoralized, deceived, and divided by the powers that be. Madeline Albright became the first female Secretary of State. Ellen DeGeneres became the first outwardly gay star of an ABC sitcom. Taiwan had its first democratic election. There were four major plane crashes. Why did we bomb Iraq when Uranus was still in Aquarius in 2003?

Neptune entered Aquarius in 1998. Neptune rules vision, illusion, delusion, and confusion.  The House of Representatives impeached Bill Clinton for giving “perjuriously false and misleading” testimony in front of a grand jury. Bill’s Hands, Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto are all in Leo. Bill was being Bill! Catholics and Protestants voted for peace in Ireland. Peace won.

The US government and twenty state attorney generals charged Microsoft with anti-trust practices for dominating the Internet access market. Bill Gates has a Scorpio Sun and intuitive hands. Imagine having the power to make a huge difference for our planet and humanity? What is the moral and spiritual responsibility of understanding that difference?

Neptune transited into Pisces in 2012. 1% of ego infected 99% of lesser ego with physical, emotional, ideological, psychological, philosophical, and spiritual dis-ease. Our delusions and deceptions about being old, poor, sick, and not being able to afford bad shit happening were dissolved. We must take responsibility for our values, hopes, fears, and choices. Fear and terror is preventing us from transforming our inequities.

Neptune in Pisces can symbolize billions of people seeking security, stability, and spiritual answers and finding despair, fear, and terror. If slavery and freedom are opposites, what shades of gray are you? The human race has become a race against bad shit happening. History will describe the 21st Century as an era of alternative facts and false profits for false prophets. HAVES rule have-nots. Plutocrats pay partisan politicians to permit the depletion and pollution of our planet, deregulation of public welfare, and control of health care, social security, and pension funds. We’re pawns, collateral damage, and statistics in a game of digital chess. Never in history have so many HAVES felt so fully entitled to manipulate and control so many have-nots.

Pisces and the Collective Psyche

Collective psyche transforms as outer planets travel from one sign to another. Uranus was the only outer planet in our solar system to pass through Pisces in the 20th century (1919 – 1928). Pisces naturally embodies Neptune, god of seas, who is always logged on to our personal and collective unconscious. I’ve illustrated the similarities and differences between 1919 and 2003 using portraits I’ve parodied of unlikeable people who’ve been conning us and getting away with it. Uranus finished its eighty-four year cycle in 2003. It passed from Pisces into Aries in December of 2011.

1919 ~ Worst baseball scandal (Black Sox) in history occurred when a grand jury brought indictments against eight players from the Chicago White Sox. Accused of throwing the 1919 World Series, they were eventually found not guilty.                              2003 ~ The illicit use of steroids was the biggest scandal in modern baseball.

1919 ~ World War I ended; consumerism, immigration, discrimination, fundamentalism, and extremism grew. Uranus in Pisces spawned a Neptunian rebellion. Four million steel workers and miners walked off the job to protest ‘too many work hours’ with “inhumane pay”.

Three Presidents (Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover) held office during Uranus’s transit through Pisces. The 30th President (born July 4th), “Silent Cal” Coolidge said, “The business of America is business”. “Biological laws tell us that certain divergent people will not mix or blend.” (“Inferior Races” of Asia) ‘Government and business were in bed together. Their illicit affairs wielded temporary but absolute power over tightly woven webs of political, social, and cultural fabric. Plutocrats compulsively betrayed us for profit. Ironically, we call our co-dependency ‘Citizens United’ these days. The warning label should read: ‘unhealthy for 99%’.

George W Bush began the ‘Global War on Terror’ by invading Iraq and wrecking Iraqi culture and infrastructure. Halliburton was a proud sponsor. Healthcare was sacrificed on the altars of pharmaceutical and health insurance czars. Energy sources (protected by our armed forces) were given to energy barons. Security for airports and seaports was carefully placed in the hands of chosen special interest contractors. Social Security flirted with an untimely demise in the Stock Market. Loss of faith in government, business, and humanity characterized 1929!

Bush’s legacy is a case study in what not to do: out-of-control federal spending (domestic and military), government bailouts (financial and auto industries) and unfunded federal mandates (education reform). George Bush entered office with the largest $ surplus and left with the largest $ deficit in history. By the end of Bush’s Presidency in 2009, Democrats controlled both houses of Congress. Who’s not leaving our children behind these days?

Uranus through Pisces transformed traditional patterns of thrift and austerity into neo-consumerism and buying on credit. Two out of three average Americans had electricity, refrigerators, and washing machines. Spending on recreation tripled. Henry Ford announced new car colors ~ Green and Maroon as well as black. Intelligent Design ~ Creationism denied modern science. With Uranus in Pisces, Science and religion clashed. Man did not descend from apes. Tennessee legislators voted it unlawful for any teacher in a state supported school “to teach any theory that denies the story of man’s creation as taught in the bible”. John Scopes, a high school biology teacher, taught the ‘theory of evolution’. Scopes lost bigly as the defendant in the infamous “Scopes Monkey Trial”.

Religious culture manipulated school curriculum to deal with obscenity, censorship, race, and sexuality in literature and theater. German Bauhaus School of Architecture with its less is more design philosophy, globally influenced architecture and product design. ‘It’s not what you do, but what you get away with that matters’. Donald Trump has taught us that common sense is not good sense. Good sense is humanity not losing its sanity. The human race has become a race against bad shit happening. As we futilely try to interpret fake news and decipher the illegible and deceptive writing on our walls, the real news is that a spiritually bankrupt human with a perverse sense of reality rules over us. Donald Trump thinks he knows what’s best for us and tough love and punishment are his gifts to us. We must all learn the hard way. We joke about greed, discrimination, prejudice, hate, and the hypocrisy of fools, but it’s not funny. Good sense is everyone becoming healthier, happier, more loving, and tolerant of ourselves, each other, and our planet. We need father figures who love us and want what’s best for all of us.

Much has happened since 1919. Not much has changed. 164 years passed and Neptune is in Pisces again from April 4, 2011 ~ April 1, 2025. It’s very difficult to predict Neptune’s nebulosity because he blurs lines between vision, illusion, and delusion. Pisces can symbolize a beginning of a new age of spiritual enlightenment or it can be the dusk of an age of denial, unhealthy attitudes, and bad behavior. Must our planet die to be reborn and rid itself of Spiritual Cancer? Must we appreciate what we have by abusing what we value? History continually repeats our need to learn the hard way.

Pluto relocated to Capricorn in 2008. Uranus passed into Aries in 2011. Pluto and Uranus mutually embody a transformation of character, energy, transportation, communications, business, politics, religion, and destiny. Great wealth powers illusions of great importance. Just because you have a huge footprint, doesn’t mean you have a big heart. Power pathologizes power, fosters denial of truth, feeds hopelessness, and catalyzes a disillusion of the will of 99%. Fear, hopelessness, and apathy are poisoning the Kool-Aid and we’re guzzling it.

DONALDEMORT AND HIS DEMENTORS

Donald Trump has shed much light on the meaning of his name. Money trumps values. Health insurance companies trump healthcare. Pharmaceutical companies, HMO’s, and hospitals prioritize profits over people. Compound fractures will never be healed with Band-Aids. Prisons privatized for profit are packed with petty lawbreakers (mostly black) proffered by plutocrats and politicians who make the laws, promote their enforcement, and profit from prison populations. Religion trumps spirituality; spawning fundamentalist, fanatical, and fiercely frantic followers instead of empowering loving spiritual people. Climate denial trumps science and good sense (for now). Donaldemort’s cabinet members’ mandates are antithetical to their missions. I call that demented!

Donald Trump is certifiably insane. Ask any psychiatrist. He’s a vampire who sucks our blood and doesn’t care about us. Do we need more fear, hate, and terror? Real wars are fought by have nots who surrender their vital essences so haves can squander them as they live in luxury.

Most underprivileged folk appreciate small acts of thoughtfulness and kindness. Haves who truly value what they’ve earned have a spiritual obligation and ethical and moral responsibility to choose how they can create meaningful differences for the rest of us. What differences can healthy intent and loving free will make? A wealthy person can send an electric car into space, but how can we rebuild our bridges and tunnels without healing our spirits? How can we help the less fortunate without empathy? How do we nourish and protect our planet without caring and having philosophical solidarity? How can we convince the invincible that we’re lovable? Our destiny is in our hands.
