Several days ago, I received the following award from the founder of Feedspot.com, an RSS content reader that saves time for people doing internet searches by sorting out the top content in various fields for subscribers’ feeds.
Hi Mark Seltman’s Real Palmistry Team,
I would like to personally congratulate you as your blog Mark Seltman’s Real Palmistry has been selected by our panelists as one of the Top 15 Palmistry Blogs on the web.
https://blog.feedspot.com/palmistry_blogs/
I personally give you a high-five and want to thank you for your contribution to this world. This is the most comprehensive list of Top 15 Palmistry Blogs on the internet and I’m honored to have you as part of this!
Also, you have the honor of displaying the following badge on your blog. Use the below code to display this badge proudly on your blog.
Here is my response…
Thanks Anuj. I’m not a huge fan of badges, but am glad your panelists chose my blog. In all honesty, I don’t know what qualifies your team to determine which blogs are best. The first thing you say about palmistry in your description is false –
“Palmistry, or Chiromancy is the claim of characterization and foretelling the future through the study of the palm, also known as palm reading or chirology”.
No serious professional palmist predicts the future! I don’t want to be grouped with those who support that idea.
I have also read some of the other blogs that you have rated as top and don’t agree with your assessment. It appears that you are looking for people with substantial followings (for whatever reason) to promote yourself.
I’ll be happy to mention the award to my followers, but I feel cynicism and skepticism about this award and most awards in general. I have won many awards for many things over many years and rarely mention any of them to anyone.
Be well, mark
Needless to say, I haven’t heard back.
Your response was wonderful. With what little knowledge I have of palmistry, I rate you number 1. Happy turkey day!
Marvelous reply!
